- Atop, founded over 25 years ago in Taiwan, designs, customizes, and manufactures industrial networking equipment and pick-to-light systems. They allow seamless conversion between Ethernet and serial devices communicating on different protocols that are popular in power plant sub-stations. Standards include Modbus, Profibus, IEC 61850, IEC 60870 – 5 – 104, IEC 60870 – 5 – 101, IEC 60870 – 5 – 103 and DNP3.
